End of sprint 1
Welcome back to the most anticipated game of 2025! Surely!
Sprint 1 has come to a close. We're taking a spring break to recharge - and let's be honest, continue working, no rest for the wicked (read: students), so next week, there will be no update for Paddle Panic. To hold you over, here's some stuff we got done, and what to anticipate for the next production sprint!
Don't these look good enough to eat? Maybe it's the weather getting warmer and sunnier, but these remind us of ice cream... not just because of the ice cream truck in there (:
And we've got the energy meter! Just to make this more interesting, your designated scout changes their facial expression if you overwork their trembling arm muscles too much.
Coming next sprint, we'll add in all the UI that's still missing, a cozy game end sequence to reassure anyone who assumed these children are dying, a large number of RFX to make the game readable, pickup special effects... all necessary set dressing, or skin and clothes, now that our game has a sturdy skeleton!
