A week of polish
So, so close!
We're nearing our game's launch. This week, we've tidied up some stuff that was bothering us or our playtesters! Devs have fixed some odd bugs, the camera shakes when the bomb goes off, you can't get stuck under bridges anymore...
Pickups are more obvious from afar with a new sparkle to them:
For better readability, the chilli (speed) pickup will add wicked exhaust pipes to your raft as you zoom forward:
Upon death, our scouts' spirits rise from the water, and their icons turn grey... is this our first retcon? Then again, you do see them warming by the fire later. Game logic?
The spritesheets of the end scene have been cleaned up:
And there's been some small changes in the look of the level during gameplay, such as flags now having outlines, and planks of the bridge having been scaled down a little.
